Annie Whitlock is a NCSS Board member and an elementary social studies professor at the University of Michigan-Flint. She and Dr. Kristy Brugar (University of Oklahoma) are conducting a study of historical fiction books 3rd-8th grade teachers use in their classrooms. The findings will contribute to educational research, specifically social studies teacher education. They are looking for teachers to complete a one-time survey which will take no more than 30 minutes.
